The Easy
916 East Pike Street
323-8343
The Easy describes itself as "the town's gay spot" and is the only dance club in
Seattle which caters to a mostly lesbian crowd. This friendly club occupies a
long, narrow, two story space in a venerable Capitol Hill building. Corrugated
steel walls, a long bar, and a bank of low-hanging red factory lights lead to the
mirrored dance floor. Upstairs, you'll find pool, pinball and darts strategically
situated near another bar. If you feel like conversing or watching the crowd,
wander along the fenced loft area and park yourself in a booth, or gaze out the
window at the always bustling Pike Street.
